Reporting Misconduct

At Istrabenz Plini, we strive to create a working environment where there are no violations or irregularities—also concerning external stakeholders. However, our work environment is highly dynamic, and despite our best efforts, issues may occasionally arise.

In Croatia, the Law on the Protection of Reporters of Irregularities (“Official Gazette” No. 46/2022), abbreviated LPRI, regulates the area of reporting irregularities and the procedures for handling identified violations in the workplace, as well as the protection of whistleblowers in cases of retaliation by the employer.

In accordance with LPRI, we have established both internal and external channels for reporting violations of regulations in force in the Republic of Croatia that individuals become aware of within their work environment, as well as protective and supportive measures to prevent or address retaliation that whistleblowers may face as a result of their reports.

If you are a natural person connected with Istrabenz Plini outside of an employment relationship, such as through volunteering, internships, professional practice, contract work, student work, participation in tender procedures as a candidate, or other forms of collaboration with the company, and if during a period of up to two years in the work environment you have discovered behaviour that you believe constitutes a violation and needs to be REPORTED, you can submit it using the FORM published in the RELATED FILES as follows:

• by regular mail to the address: ISTRABENZ PLINI d. o. o., Pristanište Podbok 3, 51222 Bakar, with the subject line „Do Not Open – For the Attention of the Internal Whistleblower Protection Officer”

• in person to the officer, by prior arrangement via email to the address: povjerljivaosoba@istrabenzplini.hr
