Video Surveillance of High-Risk Facilities and Gas Stations/Storage Areas of the Company

In the premises of Istrabenz Plini, including our stores and other facilities under our control, video surveillance has been implemented for the purpose of protecting customers, employees, and property.

Video surveillance is conducted at the following locations:

• Headquarters of the company Istrabenz plini (Bakar, Pristanište Podbok 3).
• Production and distribution unit Karlovac (Karlovac, Kalinovac 2/a).
• DC Zagreb (Zagreb, Ulica grada Gospića 3).

Before implementing video surveillance, we carefully considered how to position the cameras to minimize intrusion into the privacy of our clients, visitors, external collaborators, and our employees. Therefore, when conducting video surveillance, we strive to cover only the areas that are strictly necessary.

All areas covered by video surveillance are clearly marked as such.

Legal basis: Legitimate interest – protection of persons and property in accordance with Article 26 of the Act Implementing the General Data Protection Regulation (Official Gazette No. 42/2018).

Use and Processing of Video Surveillance Data: The data controller has implemented a system for automatically recording access to or use of the footage, including who performed these actions, when, and for what purpose or legal basis. These records are kept in a processing log as per Article 22 of this Act for two years after the end of the year in which they were created.

Categories of Video Surveillance Data Users: Video surveillance system maintenance personnel, contact person of the security company, public authorities (e.g. the police) – if they provide evidence of the legal basis.

Retention period: up to 6 months.

Special effects of processing: live event monitoring.
